“You remember the three-day rafting-tour Blake and I booked for the end of the month?”
“Yes!” Emmett exclaimed, wrinkling his nose in disgust. “And what were you thinking, Teddy? You must’ve been out of your mind… Me? I would absolutely refuse to wear something as un-fabulous as those hideous orange life-vests.”
“Yeah… you and the fashion police,” Ted countered dryly. “The thing is, Blake has to go to a conference and now I’m also out of a partner for the trip. So I was thinking of… you?”
“Hrmph…” Emmett sighed dramatically. “Well… I guess that’s what best friends are for.”
