January 1 - New Year's Day


A light smack on his butt roused Justin from his deep slumber and he mumbled a feeble complaint.

“Rise and shine, sonny boy, it’s a new year. You better get used to getting up early now.”

His next complaint was cut short by a gentle bite into his left butt cheek.

They met Daphne at the breakfast table, both greeting her with kisses on her smiling face.

“Shoveling down huge amounts of food again?” Brian teased her.

“Happy New Year, Daphne,” Justin beamed at his best friend.

“Happy New Year! This will be the most exciting year of our lives.”

It should be an exciting year for them...with a new baby or babies coming...lol....

It will bring them many changes, that's for sure... babies tend to disrupt your life's routines ;) But I think they are at a point in their life when they're ready for those changes :) Many thanks for following this little series, I really enjoyed all your lovely comments! Rena :)
