December 26 - Kwanzaa


“Why is Aunt Daphne wearing a tent?” JR asked, unable to tear her eyes from the colorful garment in question.

Mel rolled her eyes at her daughter.

Brian looked at Daphne, raised an eyebrow and snorted.

Justin and Daphne’s eyes met across the table. He mouthed “tent” and they both started to giggle.

Lindsay explained in her teacher tone of voice, “Daphne’s wearing a caftan in honor of Kwanzaa, to celebrate her African heritage and culture.”

“Uhmm… actually no, I’m not.” Daphne cut in. “It’s just that my belly is so huge now that it’s hard to get comfortable clothes.”

She's probably eating too much at the breakfast table LOL
No twins, Daphne is just so slender that the baby belly shows so early and so much... at least that's what I'm thinking ;)

It is :p But it's hard work to get back into shape again afterwards when you discover that after the baby is born you are still carrying to much kilos around LOL Hmmm, that never stopped me from eating though ;)

OMG..that was soo funny for JR to say that to Daphne..and of course Lindsay thought she had the correct "answer".. lol.. BTW.. if Daphne is due in March she shouldn't be big enough to wear a "Tent"... are twins or triplets hiding under there??? lol...

Hehe, no twins or triplets that I know of ;)))) You should have seen me during my pregnancies (or better not LOL) Maybe Daphne just eats too much at the breakfast table... Rena
