The prompt:

My beautiful son… I still remember how I held him as a baby, lost in the wonder of tiny fingers and toes, his trust in me absolute. He was always so happy and bright.

Can he forgive me that I didn’t stand by his side?

My lovely daughter… still young enough to look up at me for guidance, but old enough already to doubt my decisions.

Can she forgive me that I didn’t stand up for her brother?

Looking into the mirror of my children’s faces I see the broken pieces of our family.

Oh God! What have I done?

It always surprised me when Jennifer went along with Craig.. at first... when he "disowned" Justin.... she seemed the type that would love her children no matter what... thankfully she came around in the end...Thanks...

Heart-breaking! But Jen is a strong woman.
Loved it, sweetie!

I was really proud of Jennifer later on in the show but at first I didn't like her. I'm a mother myself and I can't believe that a mother would just stand by while her husband hits one of her children and then throws him out of the house. Thanks for your nice feedback, I very much appreciate it. Rena :)

Where's that amazing icon from? I WANT!

Ehm sorry, drabble was very nice, too. ;) I love Jennifer's POV. I love Jennifer. She's such a cool lady. Glad she made the right decision eventually.

You'd be amazed at how children can forgive their parents. Great fic.

Yes, up to a certain point children can be very resilient. I was always glad that Jennifer came around so that she could be forgiven. Thanks for your nice comment. Rena :)

that was really beautiful, thanks,Rena. I can understand why Jenniffer struggled here. I think she made up for it later, though.

Yes, I also always admired how Jennifer came around quite fast, it was pretty cool how she and Justin marched side by side at the pride parade :) Thanks for reading and commenting so nicely! Lots of hugs, Rena :)

And I really liked Tucker... a cool guy on a motorbike, what's not to like, huh? I thought he was a great match for Jennifer :)
