November 30 - Far From Home

Lindsay had that look on her face again, the one that warned Mel to tread carefully here and to formulate her next words with caution.

“So… we’re still right on track with our plans to spend Christmas with Justin and the … and Brian at the mansion, right?” She asked.

“I thought maybe we could stay with Debbie and Carl…,” Lindsay answered somewhat hesitantly.

“Don’t be silly! How would four more people fit into their tiny house?”

Silence.

“Linds, what’s your problem? Hey…”

“It’s only… when we stay at Britin I always realize how far from home we are here.”

I have a better idea.... let the both of them stay in Canada and let Gus go to Britin and JR stay with her Grandma.... In case you haven't noticed I don't really like Linds or Mel... lol..

Yes, but I think, Rena won't be so thrilled about this idea. I really like Gus in the show even as his role isn't a big one - there could have been more IMO. But Lindsey and Mel...first I was insecure, the I got bored and then I got angry about them. I mean, Lindsey lost my respect during the french guy eps, and Mel, hell, she got on my nerves with her I'm in bad mood all the time behaviour. So, I did get this out in the open. :-).
Sorry, Rena, this has nothing to do with your drabbles. I'm sure you will make it all right for BJG. Will you post new ones tomorrow? I would so like to know if BJ had survived the moral support given to the birth....

Rena.... sorry for taking over... I always thought they were both very selfish in the way they acted towards Brian... they needed him to have Gus..but..had no use for him afterwards...except for his wallet... lol.. I expected it from Mel because she was always jealous of him...Linds was worse because she was supposed to be his friend... that's it for now... back to you Rena... lol... Thanks...

I agree wholeheartedly with you on this... and yes, Linds was worse because she was manipulative, Mel at least was straightforward...

Urgh... don't remind me of the French guy episode, that guy was a sleeze, really awful!!! And sometimes I think the munchers are constantly on PMS... always grumpy, always bitchy...

Oh well, maybe Gus is still a little young for travelling alone? And he at least loves his mommies ;) Anyway, I'm quite sure that my writing won't contain lots of Mel/Linds action LOL Hugs you, Rena :D

I don't really love them all that much either, their storyline in the show never touched me more than on a superficial level, but without them there would be no Gus ♥ Hugs, Rena
