November 26 - Thanksgiving Day


“Well, I’m certainly thankful that we’re celebrating here at Britin this year,” Debbie exclaimed with that boisterous belly laugh of hers, “because I really enjoyed cooking in your big-assed kitchen!”

Everybody laughed at that and she grinned happily around the huge dining table, pleased to see her whole big family together in one place.

“And I can guess what you’re thankful for, huh, Sunshine?” she added.

Suddenly bashful, Justin leaned into Brian and gave him a gentle kiss on his cheek. Then he beamed at his best friend Daphne and said, “I’m so thankful that you’re giving us our baby.”

You know that´s why I really like your drabbles. They start "normal", mostly just a unspectacular moment, and you make a few words to tell us the scene, and all the time (ok, it´s not such a long time..) I sit, read and wait for the BIG BANG BOOM - and here it comes...That´s just goodygood! LG, Pet
