December 14 - Batteries Not Included
Justin re-entered Daphne’s room with a smile on his face.
“Dr. Callahan was pleased. I’m happy you and the baby are doing okay.”
“Yeah, me too… Keep me company for a while?”
Justin walked over and sat down right behind her on the sofa, snuggling her to his front while gently placing both his hands on her ever-expanding belly.
“Hey, what’s that?” Daphne pointed at the colorful box on the coffee-table.
“Oh, that… I bought it for the baby. It doesn’t work though.”
“Hmm, let me see… Did you try putting batteries in it? Here it says they’re not included…”
