November 27 - Emergency


“Dr. Callahan!” Justin jumped up excitedly when Daphne’s obstetrician entered the waiting area. “What happened? Is Daphne alright?”

“Mr. Taylor, I’m afraid your friend has prematurely gone into labor,” the elderly doctor answered with a worried expression on her face.

“Oh god, what is… will she…” Justin’s voice broke and Brian pulled him into his arms, offering comfort.

“What can you tell us, doctor?” Brian calmly asked. He too was scared for Daphne and their baby but first of all they needed information. Breaking down would have to wait.

“Truthfully… if we can’t stop the contractions they might both die.”
