December 29 - Fortune Cookies

“This stuff tastes like shit.” Brian stared in disgust at the fortune cookie in his hand.

“You’re not supposed to actually like them, they’re just for fun. Here, let me see, what does yours say?”

Brian peeked at the slip of paper and shook his head no. “Uh-uh… yours first.”

“Okay, mine says: ‘Good things come to those who persevere’… oh yeah,” Justin purred and slid closer to steal a kiss from Brian. “That’s true.”

After being distracted by more urgent needs, they finally read the nugget of wisdom from Brian’s fortune cookie.

‘Your joint venture will prove most fortunate.’
