I'm not sure about the kelp but she'll get lots of belly rubs from me :)
I once had the luck to see a real free living sea otter at Scotland and it was the most amazing experience for me.

Wow! Thank you so much for the huge hug!! The banner is beautiful ;-) The "I love you scene is SOOOO romantic. Every time I watch it, a little flower of happiness blooms in my heart ;-)

I'm so glad you liked the little otter ;-) It's really cool that you've seen one in the wild before! There were quite a few river otters where I used to live, but they're not quite as cute and they don't wrap themselves up in seaweed the same way the sea otters do. I ould much sooner have a river otter.
