Have Some Balls


Justin gripped Brian’s hand so tightly that their knuckles turned white. A tiny whimper escaped his throat.

“Brian?” He whispered.

“Hmm?”

“I’m scared. I don’t want to go inside.”

Brian stared at the closed door in front of them. No, he didn’t want to go in there either. He’d very much prefer to be somewhere else. Anywhere else.

“Courage.” He squeezed the word out between clenched teeth, as much to himself as to Justin. And maybe they still could…

At that moment the door popped open and Daphne grinned at them.

“Geez, guys! Have some balls! It’s only Lamaze class.”
