Rodney's Ashes


“Okay, so how are we going to do this?” Debbie turned towards Carl with a slightly wobbly, lop-sided smile.

“Oh, honey…” Carl pulled his wife to his chest and squeezed her tightly. “We’ll do what Rodney wanted us to do and scatter his ashes into the ocean. Don’t be sad, you know he had a good and happy life and he outlived Vic by more than twelve years.”

“But it was such a pity that he had no family.”

“That’s not true,” Carl admonished her gently. “He had a family that loved him very much… just not family by blood.”

Vic will be very proud of Debb and Carl, they gived Rodney love and a close family.
