Summary: Brian has started Kinnetik, Justin is back at PIFA to finish his studies and working part-time at the diner, there is no pink posse, no Rage movie, no cancer anywhere in sight.

Wild Enough
Emmett stood at the bar at Babylon, shaking his head no at the bartender.
“A double beam,” he said decidedly, sure that his usual Cosmo simply wouldn’t do for him tonight.
He clearly needed something stronger than that after witnessing the amazing scene at the loft only an hour ago.
Emmett shook his head in wonder.
Ted raised his eyebrows at him but he shrugged off his friend’s questioning look.
For once he was speechless. He, Emmett Honeycutt from Hazelhurst, Mississippi, didn’t know what to say. Why, that had to be a first!
Silently standing side by side with their backs to the bar and nursing their drinks, they watched the Brian-Justin-show unfolding in the center of the dance floor as the couple in question danced up a storm.
“This time Michael really made a complete ass of himself,” Emmett remarked casually.
“Yes, that he did.” Ted admitted somewhat resignedly, “What was he thinking?”
“And did you see Ben’s face?” Emmett giggled.
“I love that cat,” he added with a sigh, “she has quite an attitude… not unlike someone else we know who lives in that loft. I think I’d like to have one like her too.
“And Brian… could you believe your eyes, Ted?”
Ted grunted noncommittally, still watching the spectacle on the dance floor.
“I think it was really very sweet…” Emmett’s fingers played with the fringe of his brightly colored shirt. “Our favorite stud appeared to be quite… mellow.”
“To see the mighty Brian Kinney domesticated by a blond twink and a handful of blue-eyed kitten.” Ted remarked dryly.
“Domesticated? Hmm, maybe not so much,” Emmett mused thoughtfully as he watched a predatory Brian drag a very enthusiastic Justin off towards the direction of the backroom by his belt loops.
“He still seems wild enough to me.”
