The whispering started as soon as they hit the dance floor. Those silly queens were so predictable.

Wondering what an old guy like his Georgie was doing at the Mecca of gay hotness that was called Babylon.

Mocking the at first somewhat awkward moves, the too conservative clothes, the glasses.

Not realizing that right here was a man who was breaking free of his decade-old, self-imposed confinement.

It didn‘t matter though, he thought, because he had finally found someone special for himself.

Emmett’s flame was burning brighter than ever.

His Georgie was absolutely fabulous.

And they were both standing proud.
