Prompt:

Their day at the amusement park was coming to an end. Like the two weeks they got to spend with Gus every summer, it went by too fast.
The happily bouncing 8-year-old boy wouldn’t let go of their hands all day, not even as they were standing in line for one final ride on the Ferris-wheel.
Because of Gus they tried very hard to ignore the nasty remarks of the homophobic college jocks standing in line with them.
Tears in his eyes but standing proud, the little boy whispered, “You know, Dad and Papa, it’s like that in Toronto too.”
