Lost in deep thought, Justin carefully finished packing his newest painting and placed the crate next to his apartment door, ready for the shipping company to pick up in two hours. He hoped Brian would get the message. Having literally poured his soul onto the canvas, he had created an unsettling conglomeration of vivid colors and textures.
Four lonely years in New York… he couldn’t bear it anymore.
Brian carefully unwrapped his new painting. It was fucking brilliant.
Mesmerizing.
Disturbing.
There was no doubt in his mind.
Blindly picking up his phone and hitting speed dial, he said “Come home!”
