I was first here on LJ and only went over to IJ because of qaf_drabbles. I also found that I tend to be ignored on IJ but for very few people. There seem to be more like-minded people here on LJ. Just my personal impression. I feel like more people are reading my stuff. Besides my journal I post my stuff at bjfic, queer_as_fics and kinnetik_sun. For drabbles there are two nice communities - drabylon and drabblechalleng. I also like qaf_friends a lot. And there are many icon maker communities or graphics communities if one likes these kinds of things. I'm defnitely more here than on IJ but that may be because I was here first :)

Thanks for all the community recs. I'm going to post some of my stuff on them and see if I get more readers. Do you think my Vice Versa series will go over very well, or are most LJ readers into shorter fics? I don't know why the IJ people never took to me, but it's interesting that you found the same thing. Outside of about 10 or so people, they avoid me like the plague!

Oh, I think you should definitely post it :) I think most readers prefer longer fics to shorter ones. After all, they provide more reading pleasure :) And your Vice Versa is such a wonderful story!!

Thanks. I just tried to post something on one of the comms, and all the html coding showed up in the post, instead of being behind the cut. Isn't it the same as on IJ?

It is the same, but I've found that sometimes the paste and copy doesn't work from LJ to IJ or back. Or from Word into the post. Then I just edit the post and retype the the html coding part and it usually works on the second try :)

Nope, retyping the html coding didn't work. I just tried to post one of my drabbles on Kinnetik Sun but all the coding shows up. If I start from scratch and retype the whole thing, do you think that will work?
