Like Father, Like Son

Justin heard their loud laughter before the loft door even banged open to reveal two very similar flushed faces sporting identical grins. It appeared that the pre-school Easter-egg hunt Lindsay had guilted Brian into participating in with Gus had been a big fucking success.

Gus skipped over to Justin and proudly presented their bounty. “We won!!!” Turning back to his Dad, they high-fived.

“Well, I can see that, Gus,” Justin answered, tousling Gus’ hair.

Raising his eyebrow askance at Brian, he mouthed, “Competitive much?”

“What can I say, Sunshine.” Brian smirked back at him. “I’m simply the best at… everything!”
