King of Babylon

He taught me well and I learned my lesson. But it still hurts when he tells me to come back and ask him again in an hour. I don’t want to be taken for granted. And I want to be more than his back-up plan. Be more than Kinney’s stand-by fuck. I want him to take me home because I’m me and not because he didn’t find anybody else worth fucking.

So the proud new King of Babylon steals Brian Kinney’s trick tonight. Yeah, sure, I’m proud… but happy? Who am I kidding? He doesn’t give a shit about me.

I saw the one-liner, hon, and loved it too.
The arm's healed but the upper skin layer is peeling off (the same way as when you're sunburnt). So it looks...not very pleasant. But I hope it'll be off soon - and you'll have all the possible pics of the tat:)

My darling middle daughter - I found out this morning that she's been "borrowing" my ID card to buy cigarettes for a friend of hers. It's more than being pissed off though, I'm deeply disappointed in her *iz sad*

Yeah, about my daughter, I'm not even all that angry, didn't scream at her or anything like that, but I'm sad and disappointed and for now unsure how I can get to trust her again. You know, I wouldn't ever have expected that such a thing could happen to us because I always thought that there is a great relationship and absolute trust from both sides between my girls and I. Will have to think some more about it but I'm sure that things will get better again with time. I still love her to bits like I do all my girls and I'm pretty sure that she still loves me too so I know it will be alright again given some time ♥ Thank you!

Oh Rena, I'm not a mother, and so I can only imagine how disappointed you are right now.

But let me tell you something.
I have a great relationship with my mother. She trusts me. I never gave her the feeling I was doing something wrong... but truth is, when I was young, I've done things she still doesn't know right now.
What made me do that? I was young, I had to do my mistakes, I had to do something 'dangerous' just to prove I was a big girl.
Your daughter is in that beautiful, strange, messy age when you do the craziest thing.

I'm sure she will not do the same mistake again. And you'll be able to trust her again soon.
It just takes time.

Thanks so much for your kind and helpful words, Pam ♥ It's part of growing up to do some stupid things and mess up every once in a while. The important things is that we sat down very calmly and talked things out between us. And made up ♥ So things are being good again between us. Like this and think you got Justin's thoughts right. Winning the contest was....well, just was a thing. The Joy about the success wasn't as big as the dissapointment about Brian's behaviour and what it meant for their relationship. The one-liner is very good, too.
